All our products are baked in our family bakery in New Deer, Turriff, Aberdeenshire in Scotland by Mark Kindness and his craft bakers.

Our Oatcake Bites are all based on a traditional recipe that’s been handed down through three generations. It contains wheat flour so they are not suitable for those on a wheat free or gluten free diet.

All of the products featured here on our website are suitable for vegetarians

All our our products are made in a bakery that handles milk, cheese and eggs. These products are all suitable for vegans

Our family recipe was created 3 generations ago, long before anyone in Britain was using palm oil. We believe in sourcing as many of our ingredients as close to home as possible so we choose to use rapeseed oil in our products. However, our Mealie recipe contains suet and in order to avoid animal fat in our products we opted to source vegetable suet instead, this does contain palm oil as part of its ingredients. So only our Mealie Oatcakes Bites contain Palm Oil.

There are no nut ingredients in any of our oatcake bites. Our factory does not handle nuts or nut products.

All our cardboard boxes are made from FSC Certified trees and can be recycled locally. The plastic trays can also be recyclable. The film currently can not be recycled but we are working on it.

We are always looking for new partners to work with so we would be delighted to speak to you about stocking our products.
